Maleny – January & February observing evenings by Peter Allison B AS has been very active again running public outreach evenings at the Maleny Golf Club site. The evening of 6th January saw about eight telescopes set up, three of which were 14-inch monsters and others of 4-inch, 6-inch and 8-inch aperture. About 60 people attended the evening, and members of the public were delighted to be able to attach their cameras to a Star Adventurer tracker and take long-exposure images of the sky.
