MARCH 2018 7 The February 10th Star-BQ held at our Maleny Golf Club site was also a huge success. Many Brisbane-based members – Caroline, Stephanie, Bill, Dennis, Doug, Les, and others – made the trip north and over a dozen telescopes were set up for a great night on the first tee lawn. The skies were clear and the seeing good – a rare combination for this time of year. A wide range of telescopes from 3-inch refractors to 14-inch Dobsonians were under the stars.
