Warwick Gliding Club - Members Dark Sky Night

The Warwick Gliding Club (WGC) has generously consented for BAS members to periodically utilise its clubhouse and facilities at the Warwick Airport. On selected consecutive Friday and Saturday nights close to the New Moon, BAS members may attend these evenings under wonderfully dark Darling Downs skies. The WGC clubhouse has limited bunk bed accommodation capacity, so about 10 BAS members may attend on any night. The clubhouse has an excellent kitchen, TV room, lounge room, toilet and shower facilities. Members are required to entirely self-cater, or another option is Warwick just 15 minutes drive away.

Please inform the BAS coordinator of these events if you plan to attend for one or both nights – please email warwick@bas.asn.au  You will require a security gate access code to enter the airport property. The event coordinator will provide you with the gate code.
