2022 World Science Festival, Brisbane - South Bank Telescope Night

Saturday, March 12th, from around sunset through to about 9:00pm Brisbane Astronomical Society (BAS) will conduct a public telescope evening at South Bank Parkland on the River Lawn.  This is a free event for the public to take a look at the Moon and star clusters through large amateur telescopes.

Telescopes will be set up on the Promenade path along the Brisbane River and the adjacent River Lawn near the Piazza.  BAS members are encourage to bring their telescopes along, and the public are encouraged, even more, to come along and take a look through our telescopes.
